About these terms

These terms apply to anyone using quickfieldmeadow.com, the website of Quick Field Meadow, a small flower studio at 2-7-15 Oakashicho, Akashi, Hyogo 673-0891, Japan. By using the site you accept them. Details required by the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions are on a separate page, the notice linked in the footer.

What this site is

The site is an overview of what the studio makes and a way to start a conversation. It has no basket and no checkout, and it takes no payments. Orders are arranged by message, and every order is confirmed with you in writing before anything is charged.

Prices and availability

Prices on the Products page are in yen and show what each item cost when the page was last updated. The selection changes weekly because it depends on what the growers have, so an item shown may no longer be available, and the stems described are typical rather than a promise. The final price, including delivery if there is a charge, and whether consumption tax is included, is stated in our confirmation. The site is an overview, not a binding offer.

Ordering

You write to us with what you would like and, if it applies, where and when it should arrive. We reply with what we can do and the price. The order is made when you agree to our written confirmation. Please check the confirmation carefully, because it is the document that governs your order.

Payment

You pay only after the order is confirmed. At the studio we accept cash, IC cards (Suica, ICOCA) and PayPay. For orders arranged by message, such as subscriptions and events, the confirmation names the payment method, and bank transfer is possible. If we ask for payment before delivery, the confirmation says so, and we start preparing the order once it is paid.

Delivery and collection

Whether we can deliver to your address, on which day and at what cost is decided order by order and written in the confirmation. Collection from the studio is always possible during opening hours. Fresh flowers do not keep, so please tell us if nobody will be at the address on the agreed day, and let us know about any change as early as you can.

Fresh flowers are natural products

Colours, stem varieties and sizes change with the season and with the grower. If a stem named in a description is not available, we may use a similar one and will tell you where we can. Figures such as seven to ten days of vase life are typical results with fresh cuts and clean water, not a guarantee, because heat, sunlight and care at home make a large difference.

Dried and pressed pieces

Wreaths and pressed frames are made by hand, slowly and in small numbers, so each one differs from the photograph. Dried material fades gradually, especially in direct sun, and is fragile; we cannot promise a particular lifespan. They are best kept dry and out of strong light.

The weekly subscription

The subscription listed on the Products page covers four weekly deliveries of a small seasonal bunch. The first delivery date, the delivery day and the address are agreed when you order. It does not renew by itself; if you would like to continue after the fourth delivery, we agree that separately.

If something arrives wrong

If an item arrives damaged or not as described, write to us promptly and include a photograph if you can. We will put it right with an exchange or a refund, as appropriate. Because flowers are perishable and made to order, we cannot take them back simply because you changed your mind after delivery.

Cancelling an order

You may cancel by writing to us before we have started preparing the order. Once preparation has begun, the confirmation says what, if anything, you will be charged for work already done. Mail orders are not covered by a statutory cooling-off period in Japan, so please read the confirmation before agreeing.

Photographs and illustrations

The photographs on this site are illustrative stock images. They show the kind of flowers and materials we work with and are not pictures of the exact items for sale or of our studio.

Articles

The articles on this site are general notes about flowers, written for interest. They are not professional advice, and growing conditions, seasons and varieties differ from place to place and year to year.

Intellectual property

The written content and images on this site belong to Quick Field Meadow except where noted. You are free to view the site and to share links to it for personal purposes; please ask us before copying it for any other use.

Responsibility

We take care with the information here, but we are responsible for it only to the extent the law requires. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer under Japanese law. External sites we link to are outside our control.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and disputes are handled by the courts that have jurisdiction under Japanese law.

Changes

We may revise these terms when the site or our way of working changes. The current version is always at this address, and an order is governed by the terms and confirmation in force when it was made.
